SEPOC 2022 - Intelligence and Connectivity

Driving the future of power electronics and electrical systems

The 14th Seminar on Power Electronics and Control, SEPOC 2022, organized by the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil, will happen fully online from November 12 – 15th, 2022.

The main objective of SEPOC 2022 is to provide interaction among academia and industry to discuss the latest cutting-edge technologies in Power Electronics and Control and their applications. In 2022, the main topic of the Seminar will be “Intelligence and Connectivity” applied to Power Electronics, Distributed Generation and Smart Grids. The event is open to the national and international community. It is an excellent opportunity for technical discussions and for bringing together researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and students.

SEPOC 2022 will feature panel and plenary sessions, and technical papers presented in online sessions. This year, the conference’s special topics will cover: i) Optimization, ii) Artificial Intelligence and iii) IOT for Power Electronics, Distributed Generation and Smart Grids.

This year, the Seminar will be an IEEE Conference, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications Society – IAS, and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore on‐line digital library1. Authors are invited to submit regular papers in English2 with a limit of 6 full pages, including paper title, authors and affiliations (in the final version), figures and references (maximum size 2MB). Please prepare the manuscripts in the IEEE two-column format template in PDF; no other file format will be accepted. The IEEE two-column format template can be downloaded from https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html. In addition, the best papers (maximum of 20%) will be indicated for further submission to IEEE IAS journals3.

The Organizing Committee of SEPOC 2022 invites worldwide researchers to submit their full papers concerning their original research to the Seminar. The Conference scope covers three special tracks and the following general topics:
